UPSU Radio

UPSU Radio is a battled and wore-torn idea which came about in 2004-05, which to this day is still to actually come to anything.

Lots of meetings were organised for an internet-based radio station run by the Student Union and hosted by TermiSoc, and we even demonstrated a working radio station 2 weeks after the negotiations started.

However, due to a combination of stupid amounts of 'red tape', bickering between people, and many people just plucking huge nonsensical numbers out of mid-air as to running costs, we eventually distanced ourselves from the whole affair.

Before this occured, a couple of self-perpetuated things happened (as in, off our own back away from the stupidness with UPSU):

  1. Chris Morris did a radio interview with Annie Mac (listen here: part one | part two)
  2. Rich Jeffery and Chris Morris recorded the UPSU Open Mic Night (which, sadly, is not allowed to be included here, due to copyright issues)
  3. Some logo designs were made (somewhere...)
