Thinkingness

From TermiSoc: A WikiHistory

Jump to: navigation, search

The amount of work a processor (or several processors, for example in the context of a computer with more than one) can do in any given period of time. Used, for example, when comparing different processor architectures, since clock speed cannot be compared directly.

Example of Usage

  • "The G3 got about twice the thinkingness per MHz than an equivalent Pentium 3."
