TermiHouse

The original TermiHouse was the house in Ladysmith Road where Rich, Chris, Skippy and Ben lived in 2005-2006.

It tended to be the place where Exec meetings happened and where non-resident TermiSocians spent quite a lot of time; various socials like barbecues and movie nights were held here. It was also the home of quite a lot of TermiSoc hardware, including Arthur, Marvin, and (for some reason) a ridiculous number of IDE cables, as well as Skippy's hardware collection or Ben's growing collection of antique hardware.

Since the original TermiHouse petered out when Rich, Skippy, and Ben moved elsewhere, it was decided that the name "TermiHouse" should be given each year to the house with the most members (in case of a tie, the most convenient as a meeting place wins by default).

Past TermiHouses (and Residents)

• 2005–2007 — 24 Ladysmith Road:
  • 2005–2006 — Rich, Chris, Skippy and Ben: the original TermiHouse.
  • 2006–2007 — Chris and Ed; Ben moved out in October.
    • Dan and Ben's place was the de facto TermiHouse for much of this year, since it was closest to the University, but the title still resided with 24 Ladysmith Road.
• 2007–present — 5 Sea View Avenue:
  • 2007–2008 — Ben, Dan, Ed, Seth. For a few months, Chris stayed in the spare room.
  • 2008–2009 — Ben, Ed, Gem, Ross. Note that Ed actually moved out in the summer, was replaced by Gem, then returned in November, replacing Seth.
  • 2009–present — Ben, Ed, Ross, Christa.
  • In the distant past, ex-member Angus Ellis also lived here.
