Birthday cakes

It is traditional on the birthday of a member to buy a cake (usually from Sainsburys in the Armada Centre) and decorate it in a suitably geeky fashion.

Past themes have included:

• Gem, January 2007 - HAL 9000 (Gem shares a birthday with HAL).
• Carl and Rich, February 2007 - The Triforce from Zelda (the cake was presented at a LAN party, and both Carl and Rich are gamers).
