Acceptable currencies

Since the dawning of the age of computers, Geeks and Nerds have held dear to their hearts certain traditions and obligatory stereotypes which means that they understand their own lives better.

Equally, TermiSoc themselves hold dear to them certain past times, including their own currencies (also known as bartering or 'items for trade' for all you MMORPG and MUD fans).

Current accepted currencies include:

• Take-out Pizza
  • (This is divided into Large, Medium, Small, Slice and Topping)
• Domain Names
  • (This is divided into .com, .org, .eu and .uk with other top-levels subject to negotiation - no .tk though as it makes us feel icky)
• Alcoholic Beverages / Caffeinated Beverages
  • (The stereotypical bartering currency of students - only accepted in some situations / peoples and not all denominations are well received)
• Swag (i.e.: freebie items purloined from trade events / company visits / break-ins)
  • (especially if it's high-grade swag such as lanyards, pens and copies of their security documentation)
